Does your current job fulfill the expectations you had during your studies?
Absolutely! As student on a dual study program my start into a professional life is different as compared to those who join a company after having finished their studies. However, all tasks and projects that I have to deal with during my practical phase are adjusted to the knowledge that I have acquired at university so far. I'm involved in a huge variety of tasks which contributes to extending my skills. I get a lot of support from my manager, and also my colleagues are always ready to assist me.
Can you involve your personal interests in your job?
GESIPA® is a company that produces and sells fasteners and related setting tools. This makes you assume that the scope of application and thus the sector you are working in are relatively small. However, this turns out to be wrong: Blind rivet technology has a lot of related subtopics and is thus involved in many different fields. To come back to your question: I would answer it with "yes". The main customer of the company is the automotive industry, and since I'm privately interested in cars and everything that has to do with them, I can use my personal interests also in my job.
